Research On Professional Images Of Chinese Lawyers

In recent years, lawyers in maintaining social stability, servicing economic development, participating in legal aid, engaging in public activities, have made outstanding achievements, contributed to a harmonious society. But for various reasons, the public's images of lawyers have some negative views. Therefore, the revitalization of the lawyers'profession of righteousness, and establishing a good image of the lawyers'profession, the development of the lawyers'profession has become a priority.This article is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction; the author describes some specific cases, to lead to study the professional image of lawyers. In addition, the dynamic of the discussion of domestic and international research laid the premise for this article. The second part relates to the basic concept of the professional image of lawyers and analyses in-depth the good lawyers'image is great significance to the entire lawyers'industry, the construction of a socialist country ruled by law and achieving social fairness and justice. The third part describes the problems about the current professional image of lawyers, such as: irresponsible, loss of principle; fraud, lack credibility; bribery, vicious competition; business is not fine, quality is not high; unauthorized charges, wild speculations; cultivation is not enough, moral decline and so on. The fourth and fifth parts of the article are the subject for the professional image lawyers. Because of above problems exist, the author analysis the cause from the legal environment, cultural and history, economic and social, regulatory and other aspects of the lawyer's own, and propose some specific solutions.
