In the year of 2006, China will gradually open its financial markets to the foreign counterparts as a full-fledged member of the WTO. Chinese commercial banks will encounter furious competitions from their foreign rivals. At present, Chinese state owned commercial banks and share-holding banks face a lot of barriers on the way of the reform.
