Our national economy and tourism industry have been pushed upward by Conference and Exhibition Tourism which is developing dramatically. It remains spontaneous state because we have an ambiguous understanding about its definition. And some phenomenons appear which are in the opposite direction of sustainable development policy.The author illustrates the way to ensure it grows healthily and rapidly from the following aspects. Firstly, amend the definition of Conference and Exhibition Tourism and point out it is a kind of tourism product bases on conferences and exhibitions. The aim of it is to transfer exhibitors and visitors to tourists. Broadly speaking, it involves both conference and exhibition tourism, except for sports tourism, festival tourism, and incentive tourism. Secondly, construct eco-management frame, which consists of management for showcases, tourism agencies, hotels and scenic spots. Thirdly, prove the standards evaluating eco-management of it.The author takes examples of the 96th session of Chinese Export Commodities Fair and the 6th session of China Dong guan International Computer Information Products Fair to reveal the fact that we have ignored the green management for conference and exhibition tourism, and we need to pay attention to it and actions will be taken to improve it.
