A Study On The Development Of Conference & Exhibition Tourism And Its Internationalization Process In Shanghai

This paper aims to promote the international process of Shanghai's conference & exhibition tourism, and puts forward the effective countermeasure. Analyzing the MICE industry, tourism industry and the conference & exhibition tourism industry, the paper makes a new definition about conference & exhibition tourism according to the development of the international research production. In this paper, the author investigates the actuality of conference & exhibition tourism in shanghai and famous cities in the world, such as London, Hongkong, Singapore and some cities in the German. On the base of these investigations, the paper makes the conclusion about some common characters and tactics during these cities' international process. After that, the paper points out the disadvantage in shanghai, and establish the objection of shanghai convention & exhibition tourism.
