Study pattern organization is a very important expression form formodern management . This conception was early shown in the book ofwestern scholar Hercans . Then the UNESCO of United Nations raised thegoal of conducting society of Study pattern . In 90s , the theory of "StudyPattern Organization"was perfected by Professor Peter Shounji ofMassachusetts Institute of Technology . In his "The Fifth Asceticism", hefirst made the theory systematize and theorize . He thought it has threeunderstanding of different levels, that is combine learners and workingsystem together , continually in order to support the organization amongindividuals , working groups and the whole organization system. If theorganization wants to get developing power continually and permanently ,We must put the conception of Study Pattern Organization into organizationmanagement , advocate "Lifelong Study , all members'study , the wholeprocess study and group study "to improve the quality condition oforganization members.In order to forge "Study Pattern Organization", Mr Shownji put forwardthe theory of "fifth asceticism", As soon as the theory was put forward, itmade a great reverberation among all kinds of organizations all over theworld. All kinds of organizations in every country practiced and gained agreat actual effect, However , carrying out this theory in China makes ushappy and worry for a half . On one side , establishing "Study PatternOrganization"like wildfire nowadays in our joined in the procession and tryto find out many successful models . On the other side , at the back of suchvigorous activities hint many puzzlement and worriment. Some expertscommented on : the work of "Study Pattern Organization"nowadays inChina is mainly in its elementary phase. Its expression are followings. Fist iscopiness .They could not combine the theory and practice of "Study PatternOrganization"and just use and imitate rigidly and mechanically. Second ischasing fames and fashion. This made many units which took part in theestablishing activity unstable and treat failure properly. Third, they could notseize the main points and go deep into it, and just stop on the surface . It isnot correct to conduct "Study Pattern Organization"by all kinds of methods,such as setting culture atmosphere, examining patterns, encouragingmechanism etc. All the phenomena prove enough that the work of establishing the "StudyPattern Organization"of China is still in the primary phrase, and is immatureand young. The reasons of causing this situation are various. Among them,the most is that there is deviation in the recognition of the study organization.The study organization is the one, which makes the staff understand themeaning of life in the work , which creates ego and expand the future energythrough study , and which leads the stuff to study concentratedly . The studyorganization is humane , creative, effective ,active ,long-range and variable.It consists of the following subsidiary systems: leadership and administration ,culture the communicative system of knowledge , the structure oforganization, the supporting system and the technology. The concrete contentof the study organization includes the members have an identical prospect,being good at studying constantly , self-administration, the balance of thefamily and work of the members ,and so on . Through the study of the concept , characteristic, constitution andconcrete content of the study organization , we can know that , the essentialsense of this organization is creation and growing---the creation ofknowledge and the method of study, and the growing of organization andmembers. But in some factories if our country which have already establishedstudy organization, they mistake the study organization for the commonculture organization, consider the study of the study organization as politicallecture and collective learning , and even equal the tenet study, the formalismstudy to the study original purpose . The misunderstanding of the essence of the theory of the studyorganization originates from the different culture background between Chinaand the west. The western culture worship logic and concrete evidence, andmore accurate and systematic when comparing with the oriental culture.However ,the Chinese culture upholds restoring the ancient ways, neveraccepts any change , and lack for creative spirit has melts in the dispositionsand is hard to change. This becomes great barrier for China to set up thestudy organization. Firstly, the quality of he property rights to someenterprises is the personification of the property rights. It is unsuitable for thelong-range and gradual quality in the establishing process . Secondly , theoriginal administrative rules of some enterprises seldom refers to theorganization study mechanism and ensure and promoting mechanism.Thirdly , the organization structure of some enterprises one linear graderights control. Fourthly, the inner relation of the enterprise organization isimportant to the establishment of the study organization. In that way, how can the establishment of the study organization of Chinago out of the confuse and achieve development? From the standpoint of theorganization, we think we must set up the relative system in order to arousethe study impetus of the members. firstly, we should establish the studysystem based on information response . through the arrangement and thepublishment of inner operating information, administrative dynamicinformation, outer market information and professional developinginformation of an organization , we can arouse the feeling of impending crisisof the staff and make them surpass themselves constantly . Secondly , to setup a study system based on introspection to advance the effect of the workingmechanism by constant estimation summary and question. Thirdly , set up astudy system based on sharing and advocate public talk about knowledge andexperience. From the standpoint of the members , we believe we should payattention to the promotion of the study power of the members and developthe ability of insight, understanding and communication, cultivate theconsciousness of crisis , creation and study of the members, and train thestudy method of the members. From the standpoint of the organizationalleaders, the leaders of the study organization must passes there qualities: toact a roll, to have two spirits, and to develop three abilities. Only in this waycould the leader organize the members progress on the way of creating thestudy organization. Besides, we need to fix the "five practice "in a correct place in theconstruction of the study organization.
