The Research On Deng Xiaoping's Thought Of Social Stability

In the new era of building a well-off society in an-round way, reform and opening-up go into a new stage. All kinds of contradictions gradually become outstanding, in the critical period of new system replacing old system, whether the rule of averting social contradictions and suitably solving complex social contradictions and safeguarding social stability can be formed or not, which is related to the success and failure of the construction of the socialist modernization. Deng Xiaoping's thought of social stability can provide us with theoretical and practical guides while we deal with the relation among reform, development and stability. Tightly linking to the constructions of socialist modernization, this thesis analyzes and researches on Deng Xiaoping's thought of social stability.The first part set forth the meanings of Deng Xiaopiong's thought of social stability. On the basis of analyzing the meanings of the words stability and social stability, combining with Deng Xiaoping's narrations relating to social stability, this thesis defines Deng Xiaoping's thought of social stability explicitly.The second part narrates and comments the background in which Deng Xiaoping's thought of social stability forms and develops. Firstly, although "the Great Cultural Revolution" had ended, the factors leading to upheavals didn't vanish. Secondly, although reform greatly improved economy, currency inflation leaded to the panic purchasing.
