A Research On Traditional Moral Values Among The Youth In Tianlong Tunpu Of Guizhou Province

Traditional moral values are accumulating moral notions by specific nation with the development of history, promote and restrict individual moral behavior and harmonize individual and colony and models individual behavior. In the nation-regions where multi-culture conflict and blend, with intrinsic relative close social cultural system broken and under impulsion of modernization, traditional moral values vary greatly.Selecting the youth from Tianlong Tunpu in Guizhou province as objects and adopts field investigation and questionnaire investigation, the research focuses on vocational moral values, marital and familial moral values, social moral values and religious moral values from investigation of traditional moral values varying in the youth. The changes are as follows: status of going into business strengthened; woman status promoted ; elder authority weakened; hierarchic in the community broken; individualism-oriented values reinforced; identification from traditional religion and ceremony demoted.Based on the research, varying reasons of traditional moral values show as follows: mechanism of social environment unbalancing; integrated function of traditional culture ebbing; moral education departing from life background rupturing with transferring chain of traditional culture. Measures: building up different multi-culture and multi-moral values; rethinking the traditional moral values from point of view of age; combining familial with scholastic moral education.
