In order to develop advanced culture and play the key role in socialist ideological andmoral construction, we should absorb outstanding achievement of culture of all eras and allcountries. Chinese traditional culture of filial piety has a long history, which has accumulatedand become the spiritual bond to maintain the survival and development of Chinese nation.Not only has filial piety has affected people’s thinking and behavior in the past, but also worksas the evaluating standard of people’s behavior in modern times. The youth are the main forceof socialist modernization. However, the status of their filial piety is not optimistic. Therefore,the article aims to study the status of Chinese traditional culture of filial piety in moralconstruction of youth, and proposes measures to improve the moral quality of the youththrough filial piety. The article uses Marxist dialectical analysis method and holds that weshould persist in the leading position of Marxism in ideological field, by the guidance ofMarxist to Chinese culture construction and the implement of filial piety in moralconstruction of youth, in addition to study Chinese excellent traditional culture.The article is divided into four parts:The first section is the introduction. This section introduces the background, purpose andsignificance of research, the current situation of research in domestic and abroad, and themethod and innovation. In view of the present moral construction of young people in theculture of filial piety education present situation, the author of the domestic and foreigntraditional filial piety culture and moral construction of young people to understand and studyresults, reference to previous observations, on the former basis, coupled with the author’s ownthoughts and understanding, thus the thesis writing.
