The Chinese Communist Party's Ethnic Policy Effects On The Meng Nationality's Cultural Vicissitude Since The Foundation Of P.R.C.

Our country is a united poly-ethnic one, where 56 nations were living in this beautiful and rich land coequally. The people of wisdom who include all the nations have been creating brilliant culture with their hard-working. National culture is not only the important character of a nation, but also a basis on which a nation survives and develops. In the course of the national development, national culture could keep the continuity of a nation, enlighten national consciousness, enhance national cohesion and harmonize national internal relations. With the development of society and economy, the culture of each nation is changing more or less, which shows that the nation is developing. We should think highly of and know the change of national culture, as is of great significance to the formation of harmonious society. The Meng nationality is a nation which lived on nomadism originally. In the long nomad history, they formed particular production ways and living style. The development of economy caused the development of the Meng nationality culture. Especially since the foundation of our country, the open policy and reform has a great effect on the traditional Meng culture. So many contradictions were appeared between Meng traditional culture and unprecedented modernization. Based on the document and material obtained, the thesis analyses traditional Meng culture, the contents , feature, reason of the change of traditional Meng culture and the effect of the party's ethnic policy on Meng culture change since foundation. It also analyses the effect on Meng culture change in the form of economic structure change, population floating, marriage of different nations, the change of religion and the development of educational constitution. It focuses on the effect of our party's ethnic policy with the change of Meng culture. Then, the thesis puts forward two principles: 1.we should depend on the ethnic policy of our party when facing the conflict between the traditional Meng culture and modernization. 2. Active measures should be taken to solve the problem between the backward traditional ideas and modernization. In the recent years, there are lots of works and papers on ethnic culture. No thesis mentioned that the changing of ethnic policy of the Chinese Communist Party and traditional Meng culture. The author analyses the historical influence of ethnic policy of the CCP and looks forward to the future development when the traditional Meng culture is changing and stepping into modernization. The author thinks that the party's ethnic policy plays an important role in the development and spread of the traditional Meng culture since the foundation. With the economic globalization and the progress of our social construction, nowadays, the weak Meng culture devolves, develops and goes to modernization in the competition, which should be supported and ensured by the party's ethnic policy. Meanwhile, the effect of the excellent traditional Meng culture in constructing splendid culture area has been analyzed deeply. We should think highly and know the change of national culture, even treat it as a kind of great significance to the formation of harmonious society.
