Research On The System Of Chinese Bank Supervision On The New Condition

Finance is the core of modern economy. Bank has taken an important role in a nation's financial system. Bank supervision is crucial to safeguard the healthy operation of banks, which is the key to beneficial development of finance. Many serious law cases have taken place in our banks recent years. It shows not only great risks in our bank system but also weakness in supervision system. How to improve our bank supervision system is the goal of this paper.The writing road of this paper is: Based on the new condition of bank business development, the paper gives a brief introduction to basic theory of bank supervision, why want to supervise the bank, what is the goals, contents and basic rules . It reviews the bank supervision course in China, summarizes the features of traditional bank supervision and analyzes the achievements and defects: there is much weakness in our bank supervision activities, such as serious defects in rules, monotonous pattern in supervising, backwardness of supervision methods... It is necessary to reform and perfect bank supervision system in China. Summarizing the great experiences in international bank supervision, it suggests how to improve bank supervision in China. I give the suggestions on how to reform the theoretical system, law system, organizational system and methods system of bank supervision.The distinct feature of the paper is that it uses Game Theory to analyze. It is closely integrated with bank supervision practice. The suggestions are very practical and useful.
