In long period of time, freedom is the hot topic in discussion. To some extent, the history of man's development is the fight history for freedom. It is the development of computer technology and the coming of Information Ages that provide philosophers and the wise with much more and newer, even unprecedented conditions to realize their fantasy. As the same time, the discussion in freedom in virtual society has been founded on reality.Freedom is not only knowing the objective law, transforming the object attribute and structure state, expanding the existence scope of object; but also confirming subject's object, strengthening and enriching the power of essence. In one word, freedom is intergrowth in given time and space between the universal necessity of practice and the reality of the nature power of subject's development. The realization of needs subject awake, expand practice and deepen intercourse. These conditions have been provided in virtual society. Firstly, the improvement of subject consciousness provides impetus for freedom. Secondly, virtual practice provides material foundation in transforming freedom from possibility to reality. Thirdly, network intercourse provides broad space for freedom.However, freedom in virtual society doesn't mean the realization of freedom in fact. Virtual society just provides possible conditions for realizing freedom. As the product of history, it is the fact that alienation is still living in virtual society. Therefore, we should guide and stimulate the development of freedom in virtual society from inside and outside. On one hand, by utilizing environment, we should reinforce self-consciousness and subjectivity. On the other hand, by constructing network facilities, keeping watch on network, we could guide network to develop healthy and orderly.
