In the course of Chinese economic development, foreign trade has alreadybecome the important source of economic growth of our country. Realizingthe foreign trade in pluralism helps to get rid of depending on the economy ofAmerica and Europe and Japan, strengthens the independence and theinitiative of the economy of our country. The Middle East area is an importantnew developing market in the pluralistic strategy of international market ofour country; it is a very fast area of development speed of foreign trade of ourcountry too. Since the end of the Iraqi war, the economy of the Middle Eastarea is rebuilt, this has offered the good opportunity for our country's foreigntrade. Analyzing the economy of the Middle East helps enterprises of ourcountry to trade with the Middle East, and also offers the theoreticalfoundation for our country to make the foreign trade policy in the Middle Eastarea. This text is divided into three parts.First part analyses the economic situation of the Middle East after Iraqiwar by dividing Arab countries into oil-producing countries and non-oil-producing countries. After the Iraqi war, oil-producing country of Middle East suffered losses, but their economies had not fallen back. After the Iraqi war, the price ofpetroleum was rising violently, which brought the generous petroleum incometo oil-producing country of Middle East. Petroleum income offered a largeamount of fund for their economic development. The reason of high price ofthe petroleum has the following three points. First of all, the high-speeddevelopment of the international economy causes the demand for thepetroleum to increase, which made the price of petroleum rising constantly;Secondly, the Iraqi petroleum supplied unstably, which promote the price ofpetroleum to rise; Finally, it is an important factor of promoting the price ofpetroleum to rise that OPEC drops supporting value and world petroleumstocks are insufficient. Though the rising of the price of petroleum hasbrought the sufficient fund to economic construction of oil-producing countryof the Middle East, injecting vigor into economic growth, it may cause theunfavorable result, such as oil-inflation, unemployment, slowing theeconomic growth down and so on.There is very long history in the economic cooperation between the oil-producing country and non-oil-producing country, but the trade between themis in low-level state of development. Although Iraqi war has brought certainnegative effect in the non-oil-producing countries, they still realize theeconomic growth of the whole year. The high-speed developments of theinternational economy and non-oil-producing countries'economic reformpours have promoted their economic growth. Although the economies of non-oil-producing countries have been developed after the Iraqi war, certainhidden dangers exist. First of all, regional politics unstable and war influencedevelopment ; Secondly, the petroleum price in the world remains high, whichshadowed economic development of non-oil-producing country; Finally, although the non-oil-producing country launched the economic reform formany years, the drawback exist in its reform, influencing the fast developmentof their economies.Second part mainly analyzed current trade situation and trade prospectbetween our country and Middle East. There is very long history in the economic cooperation between ourcountry and Middle East. There is very great break-through on the quantityand quality in trade between our country and the Middle East. Trade betweenour country and the Middle East area are divided into non-petroleum tradeand petroleum trade. Non-petroleum trade mainly displays on light industrialproducts, such as projects contracting, service cooperation and investmentcooperation. The trade between our country and the Middle East is mainlyconcentrated on petroleum, which becomes the important ties of China andMiddle East. Petroleum trades between our country and are expanded year byyear, and the Middle East have become import supplying the area of ourcountry, but the degree of dependence to the Middle East petroleum isdropping gradually. The demand for the petroleum of our country expandingcontinuously, the insufficiency of supply-demand of domestic crude oilstrengthening and competing with other countries of Asia to get the petroleumresources, cause the safe problem of petroleum at the present stage. And thehigh oil price plays an unfavorable role to our country.Trade between Our country and the Middle East has a bright future. Afterthe end of Iraqi war, Iraq rebuilt and the surrounding countries need to resumeeconomic construction. All these have offered foundation and motive forcefor developing further trade between our country and the Middle East. Tradebetween Our country and Middle East improve further, for example, projectjoint-venture is strengthened, and the cooperation of financial fields will bestrengthened also. The third part mainly analyzes impeditive factors, existing problems andcountermeasure of trade in our country and the Middle East economic andtrade contacts. In macroscopic speaking, the war has a enormous impact on tradebetween our country and the Middle East. Protective policy which the Arabcountries adopted, bring the inconvenience to trade contacts between us.Though our country and the Middle East countries have obtained considerabledevelopment on trade, trade scopes are not big. The trade level between ourcountry and the Middle East country is not high. The national relationinfluences the economic and trade contacts between our country and theMiddle East country. In microcosmic speaking, namely the problem exists intrade is the way that we had operated. For example, the samples are not...
