| The people oriented moral education of Deng Xiaoping is the important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Deng Xiaoping paid great attention to the actual effect of the moral education and held his idea of concerning about and respecting people's benefit at any time in four aspects of the moral education such as the goal, the position, the method and the principle. The people oriented moral education not only had great effect on Chinese revolution and the moral education at the beginning of construction but also became the guiding idea in the period of either reforming and opening-up or socialist marketing economy. In the future, it will have profound effect on building harmonious and healthy well-to-do level society. The author analyses and searches for the people oriented moral education of Deng Xiaoping deeply and systematically and puts forward some own opinion. The article consists of four parts.Part I : the forming and developing of the people oriented moral education of Deng Xiaoping. According to the experience of the revolution and the construction and his interest in different periods, it is divided into three stages—the embryonic stage, the tentative forming stage, the deep developing stage; Through researching for the base of the theory and practice, it not only explains that the people oriented moral education of Deng Xiaoping has close relation to Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Chinese national culture but also announces that the abundant practical experience is the source of the thought.Part II: It, which includes four parts, is the one of this article's emphases. The first one is about the values of the people oriented moral education, the second one is about the position and the function of it, the third one is about the principle of it, the fourth one is about the methodology of it.Part III: the characteristic of the people oriented moral education of Deng Xiaoping. It expounds mainly the scientism, pragmatism, open, focalization, equality and be perceived.
