People-oriented thought is the start and the end of the communist Party of China governing philosophy,it is the trend of historical development and the requirement of the era of progress that to achieve and maintain and develop the fundamental interests of the masses.Both of people-oriented thought of Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's are the important content of people-oriented thoughts of the communist Party of China,based on the thought of Marxism about the masses,based on Chinese traditional people-oriented thought,they are similar theory system.Because of the different background and personal experiences,their people-oriented thoughts must be with their own characteristic of times and individual.This paper mainly adopted the method of comparative analysis with looking up document information and comprehensive generalization,deeply compared people-oriented thought of Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's,creatively elucidated the consistency on origin and content,creatively elucidated the difference on defining “people”,understanding people's “fundamental interests”,the method of playing the main role of people and realizing people's interests,creatively elucidated the reasons of the differences,gained significant revelation,achieved the innovation of study.In new period,it is obligatory to insist advance with the times,arouse the enthusiasm of the masses,clear service object,regard people's yearning for a better life as the goal.Research of this paper has great significance to develop people-oriented thought,strengthen the party's construction of clean and honest,close party-masses relationship,build a well-off society in an all-round way,realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
