Strategy Study On The Solution Of Water Resources Problem From Sustainable Development View In Shandong Province

Water is the source of life, the vital condition for human's living and development and alsothe important factor of making up environment. Human can't live and develop without it and thesustainable utilization of water resources is human's eternal problem. As we all know thatShandong province lies in the middle of the Huang-Huai-Hai plain and is one of water shortageprovinces. Water resources have been the bottleneck factor for socioeconomic development andthe general construction of well-off society. Studies on water resources in Shandong province atpresent all think it as water resources shortage and put forward solving tactics accordingly. Infact, this passes the back to the nature, making against the sustainable utilization of waterresources in Shandong province, doing harm to the credit of Shandong province and restrictingthe socioeconomic development. Therefore, subject evaluating the situation of water resources inShandong province, namely suitable estimating the water shortage types in Shandong provinceand its spatial character are vital to establish scientific water resources strategy and solve theproblem of water resources shortage in Shandong province.The main contents in this paper are as follows:1. Deny Shandong province being water resources shortage. On the basis of studying onwater resources situation in Shandong province, this paper points out the available waterresource should be all kinds of available yearly renewable water resources, including rainfall,yellow river water, seawater and saltish water, making-rain etc. Analyzing from water resourcescharacter, annually average rainfall, per capita yearly renewable water resources, waterconsuming of per ten thousand production value and groundwater exploitation potential etc, thispaper denies Shandong province being water resources shortage and points out its water shortageis developing type, due to losing the balance between regional socioeconomic development andwater resources exploitation.　2. Quantitative appraise the types of water shortage in each city of Shandong province andanalyze the spatial character of fresh water resources shortage.
