With the increasing development of modern economy, the consumers more and more know what they want individually. To adapt themselves to this condition, the enterprises must have two kinds of capabilities, one for individually marketing and one for integration of internet and information and resource in corporations. And the marketing information system is just here. And on one side, the marketing information system concerns the customers and it collects the information for consumers' interests and analyzes these resources, on the other hand, it concerns the effective utility for the corporation resources and integrates all kinds of resources. And it accelerates the process that the enterprise manages by the demands of the consumers and the enterprise strives to attain the commitment and satisfaction of the consumers. And the key content of this paper is the marketing information system in modern enterprises.The first part of this paper shows the definition and reformation of marketing as well as the inter-beneficial relationship between marketing and logistics, and this paper next to introduces how to setup the marketing information system and its definition, objectives, characters and structures, etc.The main part of this paper firstly shows in detail how to collect and analyze the data we need; then the next part shows how modern marketing information system helps the enterprise make decisions about the marketing during the running process from the aspects of the subdivision of market and the orientation in market and the design and the price of the products and the integration of the strategies for marketing and the service for customers, that is how the marketing information system works in enterprises; and the last part shows us how to make the best of the marketing information system to optimize our marketing system. And at the same time, we introduces the structure in marketing information system software for the function parts in enterprises and the design for the database tables for information analysis, etc, and this help us to understand the setup and application of the information system software in latter part of this paper in a manner of example.The next part of this paper embodies the setup and application of the marketing...
