The Research On Project Management Modes And Developing Strategies Of Project Management Companies

China has entered WTO and construction trade has been opened to other countries. With the fast development of Chinese economy and incessant enlargement of basic construction investment, the demands on project management service and persons of project management are very exigent in Chinese construction market. Chinese professional consulting companies are facing vehement competition at the same time. With advanced technology, good service, education plan to persons and high salary, foreign large project management companies will have a contest with Chinese ones in markets, persons, resources, and so on. There is a large gap in technology, service, scientific management and personnel education between our Chinese companies and foreign companies. In order to fit situation, contest markets with foreign companies and keep subsistence and development, Chinese professional consulting companies should be changed into project management companies.With study on facts of Chinese construction trade and project management companies, and on the basis of the analysis on domestic and overseas research productions, the developing strategies of Chinese project management companies were put forward in this paper. With the example of Hunan province, the realizing manners and steps were studied at the same time. The following jobs were did:First, the project management modes in common use were analyzed systemically and the project management mode selecting model-Entropy Theory Fuzzy Selecting Model (ETFSM) was put forward. There are three steps when using ETFSM. Firstly, ensure judging indexes. The users can use judging indexes of this paper or other ones according to the facts. Secondly, ensure the weights of every judging index. Entropy Theory (ET) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to calculate combined weights. And lastly, Fuzzy Maths (FM) was used to select project management mode. Simple steps, good applicability and high precision are characteristics of the model. So, the applicability of the model is good in selecting optimum project management mode.Second, the home and overseas circumstance of Chinese project management were analyzed roundly, which was very important to development of Chinese project management.
