The demand based on the importation of China's iron core and Japan's coal rises sharply, while trade of corn and minor bulk is also very active. Besides these, the unusual port congestion and low new ship delivery make the supply fall short of demand. The reason behind this is that Dry and Bulk market was so powerful is that the increase of the demand cannot be met. There is a controversy whether International Dry and Bulk market would remain the present market in the near future. Therefore, this paper analyzed the future bulk shipping market trend and make economic reasoning to mainstream bulk ship type, in the hope that it will provide some references to the bulk shipping companies.Firstly, this paper focuses on the characteristic of international bulk shipping market, make a careful analysis to it's developing trend from the perspective of demand and supply of the market, and neutral network method was used to forecast the demand and supply trend, at last this paper adopt "the demand-supply balance method" to analyze the balance between supply and demand of the future market. Finally this paper makes single ship economic analysis to the mainstream ship type in the future, and selected the optimized bulk ship type according to the results.
