China's society is undergoing a series of reforms with the economy booming. This situation makes even harder to get a thorough picture of the activities of international non-governmental and non-profit organizations. This report summarizes the questionnaire survey of 34 international non-governmental and non-profit organizations by provides the basic information of their branches in China in the following sides: (1) organization information including origin country, category, development history in china, legal status, project concerns and working regions; (2) organization administration including human resources, project supervision and fundraising; (3) public relationship including the relationship with government sectors, cooperative organizations and medias; (4) main problems caught in the activities and how these problems will affect their China development strategies. Based on the above information, this report analyses what effects and impacts the international non-governmental and non-profit organizations have on china's society and what policies the government need to adopt to administrate their activities in China.
