On The Legal Supervision Of Commercial Bank

Financial system plays a prominent role in modem economic system. However, as the core of the financial system, the commercial banking system, especially the legal supervision of commercial banking, still needs to be improved in many aspects.This thesis develops the argument from four angles. Chapter 1 illustrates the basic theories of the legal supervision in commercial banking. It explains the concept of legal supervision in commercial banking, relevant theories and doctrines, specific background, objectives and principles, which provides the theoretical support and guidance for the improvement of legal supervision in Chinese commercial banking. Chapter 2 concentrates on the comparison studies of the legal supervision of commercial banking in Germany, Great Britain, Japan and America, which supplies experience and reference for the improvement of the legal supervision in our country. Chapter 3 summarizes and forecasts the development orbit of the international commercial banking, clarifying the international background and developing direction of the legal supervision in Chinese commercial banking. Considering the problems with the legal supervision in commercial banking today, chapter 4 puts forward the blueprints of the improvement of the legal supervision by making reference to the experience of the main developed countries.
