In actual working and realistic life, each person needs motivation, regardless of this kindof motivation from ourselves or from others. As an organization, if motivation take noimportant and ample role in practice of the entire organization, this organization will halt, atthe same time it will also lose many developing opportunities, will also lose deservedcompetitive vigor.Early in 50 decade of 20 century, in abroad, motivation theory had been produced, and ithas been applied extensively by people in most management practice for many years. Then itwas used in education. Although the study of motivation involves most of the surface broadlyin education, it seldom take the contemporary undergraduates, having double-status, majoringin idea and politics, as the object, not to mention studying it from the following aspects, theoutline, contents, requests and opportunities, principles and methods, systematically. For thisreason, I attempt to take the contemporary undergraduates majoring in idea and politics asobject to study motivation education systematically from the above mentioned aspects, andhope to supplement and enforce the motivation theory and education theory, to make themmore systematically and more abroad, especially to make the art of education more flowery.Firstly, this article analyzes the concept, theory bases, necessities of the motivationeducation on the contemporary undergraduates majoring in idea and politics;secondly, itintroduces the contents of it, involving patriotism, socialism, collectivism, morals, study,innovation ability and so on;thirdly, it promotes the requests and opportunities of themotivation education;the last but not the least, it shows the principles and methods of it.
