On The Functions Of Ideological And Political Work In Handling Mob Events

Whether those mob events be handled properly or not counts for much for the general situation of Party's leadership, the trend of people's opinion and the social basis of Party's reign. Because it is a politic task of absolute priority to keep society stable especially in the process of building socialism harmonious society, we should take active measures to prevent mob events. As an important political superiority of our party and socialism, ideological and political work plays an inevitable role in handling mob events. In this article, the functions of ideological and political work in handling mob events are analyzed comprehensively and systematically on the basis of the reasons of current mob events in our country. After this analysis, how to bring these functions into play, etc the ways to realization, is discussed in order to provide some helpful reference to concrete job of preventing and handling mob events. This article is composed by three parts:First part: the characteristics, types, reasons and the harms of mob events.In this part, the harms of mob events for our socialism construction are analyzed from the viewpoint of the characteristics and reasons of mob events in our country.Second part: the status and functions of ideological and political work in handling mob events.
