If the official didn't obey the administration ethics, it should affair the image of the government and damage the development of the whole country, which attract the attention of the scholar and the government itself. Meanwhile the policeman is the representation of the official system, and it has its own distinguished status, that they should be more justice than other kinds of officials, therefore it's very important for us to have a research of the policemen's subjective responsibility. On the contrary, we now don't have a great bound of the positive research of the policemen's subjective responsibility, so we try to have an all-around investigation of the item. The main purpose of our research is to study the subjective responsibility of the Chinese policeman, and try to find its configuration through operational definitions, then we'd like to explore the relationship between the subjective responsibility and personality in order to find its true meaning. After we finish our research and Stat. the result, we have a clue that:1. The Subjective Responsibility Query (SRQ) which we compile has an acceptant reliability and construct validity, and it also has a determinate criterion. It has three components, and they are cognitive, sensibility and causation components.2. The subjective responsibility of the policemen has a remarkable correlation to the personality factor, which means the two variables have a very close relationship, the personality may affect one's subjective responsibility.3. According to the result of the one way ANOVA, the age, working length, working species and the reward record of the policeman, have an effect to one's subjective responsibility4. According to the interview, the conflict between individual stuff and Police function transfer, Chinese traditional political culture, the conflict between community transfer and executing seriousness, and the limitation of organization system all affect the police's subjective responsibility.
