How to feasibly defend and realize the social equality and justice, is an urge but essential theoretical task at present. Deeply into studying and researching Mao Zedong especially his social equal thought and its practice during the period of new-democratic revolution is of momentous theoretical significance in advancing the socialist construction of harmonious society.The traditional ideal of Great Harmony, the Three Principles of the People (of the people, by the people, for the people) put forward by Dr. Sun Yat - sen and the Maxism social equal thought are the ideological sources of Mao Zedong's thinking of social justice of the new-democratic theory.That Mao Zedong's new-democratic social equality thought, which is embodied in the politics, is to emphasize the democratic politics as the basic political system of the state, to ensure the democratic rights of the social classes and stratums as well as the numerous masses, to ensure the equality of the people's personality and political positions, to ensure that people are equal before the law and ensure the national equality and international equality. That incarnated in the economy is his proceeding all things from the basic interests of the masses as well as always holding the value orientation of serving the people whole-heartedly and asserting the economic justice. The basic program of'Land to the tiller','Capital control'started with the change of relations of ownership in order to realize the economic jumping-off justice. To achieve the justice of distribution, the income differential should be controlled and doctrine of absolute equalization should be opposed.
