Research On Legislation About Crimes Of Infringing On Copyright

As an important element of the intellectual property system, the copyright system plays a great role in promoting the development of science and technology, enriching the cultural prosperity and in boosting economy. With the purpose of protections copyrights, our country's criminal law provides penalties for crimes against copyright. Due to a late start in the copyright protection, far from being mature and perfect it is to protect the copyright by means of imposing criminal penalties. And not a few questions are still at the stage of investigations and argument. So does that in the field of criminal law. Mentally, people don't have an enough understanding of the social hazards of copyright violation. Theoretically, criminal law protection of copyright is lacking in systematical study. With the development of science and technology, new situations and problems arise in criminal legislation of copyright.Taking this into consideration, the writer makes an analysis of the legislative situation in the protection of copyright and compares it with that in developed areas and countries.
