《Credit Rule》was published in 1996 by People Bank of China with the purpose of regulating the credit activities. It has been a regulatory reference for all commercial banks in China since it published, it is the rules which need strict execution by staff who do the credit business in each bank. During the ten years of implement,《Credit Rule》make action keeping the market order, standardizing the credit activities , protecting the bilateral legal rights and improving the quality of loans . The legal environment and system, as well as《Credit Rule》need to be consistent updated based on the social economic development.
