The Party Building Work: At The Point Of Private Enterprise

Since the policy of reform and opening-up, the private economy as the most vigorous pole of economic growth in China, has not only changed our previously existing economic structure, but also raised a new challenge to the Party building which was accustomed to the economic environment of a high degree of public ownership, confronting the traditional grass-roots Party building tasks with a new point of economic growth. In a sense, whether our party can be adaptable to the tendency of rapid development of the private economy and that highly effectively carry out the Party building tasks in it is the touchstone to test our party developing mass work under the socialist market economy condition, and is a new test to the ability and level of functions of government administration of our party.Comparing with the enterprises of public ownership, launching Party building tasks in the private enterprises is more difficult and complex. The nature of private ownership in means of production of the private enterprises determines that the party affairs system isn't possible to be established and given play to its role according to traditional channels. The party organization activities of the private enterprises, to a large extent, are influenced and restricted by the proprietors; therefore there isn't guarantee on system of organization to their status and functions. In addition, party members are not stable in nature, having indifferent organization awareness, and not maintaining close connection with the superior party organization, all these characteristics further multiply the difficulties of Party building tasks in private enterprises.How to carry out the Party building tasks in private enterprises? We have no precedents to go by, and have no ready-made model to indiscriminately imitate, only by starting from the practice of private economic organization, aiming at particularity, attaching importance to adaptability, strengthening efficiency, depending on pioneering spirit and creating practice, can we break a new path.
