The Improvement Of Multi-Party Cooperation System In China From The Viewpoint Of Constitutionalism

Constitutional democracy, the most ideal political system in modern time, is the main task of political development of every country. China also definitely made it a main aim of political development in 21st century. The core of constitutionalism is democratic politics, which means the governing by most people. However, democracy does not mean that every person can govern the country directly; neither does it means governing without order. Democracy itself is a process with leader and order. The leader is party, which is the product of democratic society and is always closely connected with constitutionalism. If there were on lead of party, it is impossible to realize democratic constitutionalism. So democratic politics is politics of party. From the perspective of the framework of constitutionalism, party is an indispensable organization for the development of a country and the growth of democratic politics. As an important part of democratic politics, political party system can directly influence the realization of people's rights and the orderly operation of construction of constitutionalism.This paper holds the view that same with any other things, constitutional construction in china is a huge system. It is closely connected with the improvement and perfection of other systems instead of being isolated. As a subsystem, Multi-Party Cooperation System is no doubt a key factor pushing ahead the constitutional construction of China. Compared with other countries, Multi-Party Cooperation System, which is characterized by the new parties' relationship of domination by the Communist Party only, cooperation of communist party and democratic parties and mutual supervision, is unique and has its own advantages. This new type of relationship between parties can help promote the construction of democratic politics, coordinate the relations between various interests and maintain the stability of society.Having analyzed the role of Multi-Party Cooperation System in promoting the construction of China's constitutionalism, the advantages of Multi-Party Cooperation System, the constitutional value of Multi-Party Cooperation System and its present situation in China's constitutional construction from the perspective of fundamental theories of constitutionalism and the relationship between political system and constitutionalism, this paper gives positive evaluation to Multi-Party Cooperation System from constitutionalism's role and usefulness, reveals that the development and improvement of Multi-Party Cooperation System consistent with the core of constitutionalism and also pointed out some shortcome of Multi-Party Cooperation System,Then the author put forward some specific measures as how to perfect the Multi-Party Cooperation System from the viewpoint of constitutionalism.
