The Research Of Ex-Servicemen Placement

At present, it is so hard to solve ex-servicemen placement problem. The government placement departments and ex-servicemen have gotten into trouble seriously. There is not enough funding and positions for ex-servicemen in government departments. Some departments are not pleasure to hunting job for ex-servicemen who are lack of vocational skills. Because of discontent with placement, a lot of ex-servicemen petition constantly. It isn't only a social problem, but also a political problem, which is relate to national defense, national security, social stability and economic development. We must solve this problem in Harmonious Society Construction.This paper had deeply analyzed and researched Chinese Military service system and placement policies by analyzing ex-servicemen placement in Changed of Hunan province, comparing the present ex-servicemen placement policies of China with foreign experience, and discussed how to improve this work level under new situation. Next, I analyzed the foreign experience of ex-servicemen placement by anglicizing the policies of the USA, Japan, Canada and Korea. At last, I gave my own opinions that how to solve these problems: the Military service system should be reformed. We should conscript from senior middle school graduates. At the same time, the army should do professional reform the present placement policies should be reformed too. The ex-servicemen placement should be placement by self-employed, allowance placement under relative policies.
