| For our party and country,ex servicemen are an extremely critical human resource,an indispensable part of the process of social reform,and a source of wartime troop mobilization.The state has issued a series of preferential treatment policies for the ex servicemen,which has enabled local governments to provide great help to the ex servicemen and properly solve their problems in re employment,children’s enrollment,etc.However,due to the faster and faster development of China’s market economy and the constantly changing external environment,the employment and resettlement of ex servicemen has encountered great difficulties.In order to meet their interests,some ex servicemen often choose to gather,sit in and other ways,which has caused extremely adverse effects on society.The role of the employment and resettlement system for ex servicemen is to enable these soldiers to participate in the ranks of social services after their discharge,and fully reflect their own value.In China,there are three ways to place ex servicemen: retirement,job transfer and demobilization.At present,China is in the period of in-depth development of the market economy.The existing employment and resettlement system for ex servicemen cannot meet the needs of the times,so this system needs to be improved and innovated.Based on previous studies,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the employment system of ex servicemen in Qingyuan City,mainly analyzes its development status and the problems and challenges encountered in the development process,and learns from foreign experience in the resettlement of ex servicemen,hoping to provide the government with certain help,so that the employment and resettlement of ex servicemen can be carried out in a more diversified way,and puts forward some effective countermeasures and suggestions according to the actual situation,It is expected that the employment competitiveness of ex servicemen in Qingyuan City will be greatly improved to a certain extent,so as to speed up the employment and resettlement of ex servicemen,provide guarantee for national defense and military construction,and lay a foundation for social stability and unity. |
