As China is in a period of its legal construction, a large numberof laws need to be improved. Legal philosophy studies the basis ofenacting laws. it will contribute to the betterment of Chinese legalsystem. Kant's legal philosophy is the important component of hisphilosophic thoughts. The author will focus on the study of legalphilosophy, so that a relatively systematic understanding of Kant'slegal philosophy will be reached for the benefit of Chinese legalconstruction.Kant's legal philosophy is the part of moral philosophy, with thetendency of mean, which is based on his priori spirit philosophy. Tosum up, there are three characters of Kant's legal philosophy: First, heused the concept of priori to verify right and state; second, he used theprinciple of pure practical reason to analyze human right, private rightand state right. Finally, he put forward the idea of ruling by law, worldcitizen and permanent peace. The article tries to outline the sketch ofthe main body of the Kant's legal philosophy.There are five chapters in this dissertation. Chapter oneexpounds the theory basis of Kant's legal philosophy, as beginningstudying Kant's epistemology and moral philosophy. Chapter twoexpounds the necessity of Kant's legal philosophy. Chapter threediscusses the main concept and classification of Kant's philosophy.Chapter four expounds the main content of Kant's legal philosophy. Inthe last chapter, author will discusses the meaning and influence ofKant's legal philosophy.
