This thesis is the first one that unscrambles the Longgang Qin Dynasty bamboo slips unearthed in Yunmeng of Hubei Province from a jurisprudential perspective. Putting emphasis on the Garden Forbidden Law, the main content of Longgang Qin Dynasty Bamboo Slips, this thesis introduces the general situation of forbidden garden; explains that the management of forbidden garden followed the principle and idea of heavy sentence-ism of Legalists; dissertates the use of criminal and administrative laws in the management and discusses the collateral characteristic of economic rules of law and economic management. This paper clarifies the articles of law on the Longgang Qin Dynasty bamboo slips. The Garden Forbidden Law is an epitome of the completeness of the legal system in Qin Dynasty. But this law was ahead of its time and was not adaptive to the social and economic situation. It didn't take people's concern into consideration and was put into practice too suddenly. As a result, it led to the situation of punishing without prior warning and half of the people on the road being prisoners. This is one of the despotic rules of Qin Dynasty. It shook the political basis of Qin Dynasty and led to its perdition.
