The Analysis Of The "Soft Crisis" Of Chinese International Communication By The Theory Of "Conflict Between Civilizations"

The power of the international communication is an important part of the national power. The practice of the international communication shows that a nation's influence on international stage originates from the national ability of image design. Being the largest developing country, China need strong international communication organization as the foundation of country's power, the international communication of China should play an important role on molding Chinese national image and defending the Chinese national interest .However, some researches show that there are some obstacles of the Chinese international communication on constructing the power of influence and penetration. The factor of these obstacles come not only from shortage of communication foundation, but much more from the culture and politics ,the shortage of "soft power" .To analyze this Phenomenon and puts forward the counter-plan by particular theories has become an urgent matter .By analyzing Huntington's "theory of the conflict between civilizations " , The thesis concludes that the international relations structure and form of ages of the empress"Cold War"conceived by Huntington can be induced for two theories premises and a theories model substantially, two theories premise is, the firmness of core culture and the catholicity of western political ideology .According to these two theories premises, the writer delineates the international relations structure conceived by Huntington in the way of the diagram example. The factors which differentiate the world are as follow: Culture, the political ideology, and national interest, three main factors are arranged in order from inside to outside depending on the strong or weak of stability, this three main factors decide the relations between countries, the more same the three factors are ,the closer the two countries will be. this thesis believe that this model also delineated the factor which influent the Intercultural Communication According to this theories model and the analysis to Chinese international communication organization: system, nature and the aim, this thesis point out that the Chinese international communication faces three obstacles :the conflict of national interest, the difference of political ideology and the difference of culture. To break out these three obstacles, we need to change the communication strategy and the content of communication. But the deeper changement comes from the adjustment of the cultural industry policy and the integration and the reconstruction of the Chinese tradition cultures.
