Analysis Framework Of Producing And Surviving Of Working-Class Consciousness

In the process of social transformation in China, traditional groups of workers and the new groups of workers with peasant identities, whose holistic status has come to harm, and the weakness is visible. As a focus of the society and hotspot of academic research, the related groups of workers and social movement issues have been paid more and more academic attention.In recent years, however, the argumentation about social movements and the working-class group is tend to become apparent, that is to say ,people with worker standings are looked upon as the same research object whatever they are migrant workers or state-owned workers, the people with jobs or the jobless, the capitalistic workers or the socialistic workers. Besides, social movement theory of the western and the analyzed pattern are used to research the migrant workers and those laid-off with no differences, ignoring the differences between the history and system of the working group with different standings in different periods under the circumstance of China. From the transformation of the conception of working-class to the research of the worker group and their class consciousness, that is beneficial to make the sociology research Sinitic after thinking and understanding the contraposition relations between knowledge and society.The class consciousness raised in this research reflects three social frames in different stages, three different explanation frames ,which is actually comprises three meanings, namely the class consciousness of economy relations, the class consciousness of organization relations and the group consciousness after reform and opening up. This paper aims to explain and illustrate the form of class consciousness and expansion in order to make a compartmentalization of economy frame, organized frame and the new dualistic society frame after reform and opening up, and reveal its characteristics in different stages.In the early days of the birth of the consciousness of the working class, viz the days of critical sociology of Marks kept an eye on, the awareness of class was based on economy and property relations, political and ideology relations depended on economy and property relations. In the first thirty years after the foundation of the PRC, after the class conception in economy and property was faint, class of political category played an important role in holding and organizing the society. As the working class of political category, its essential is distinguished from those in western in industrialized period, which the working-class had been formed. After reformation and opening to the outside world, the worker colony before the market innovation and the laid-off community and the migrant workers after the market innovation have different meaning in the condition of the structure of China with its own features. Collectivism in planned economy days and the individualism in the market economy days conflict and coexist in this period. The social mechanism of the traditional planned economy and market economy which is out of traditional system in this case form a new duality and unique social structure. In this new structure, the class consciousness in and out the system will be complemented. Therefore, it is necessary to have a wholehearted inspection in some researches about social movement issues and worker colonies in recent years over the relations of associated knowledge and social structure.
