Study On Xu Fuguan's Idea Of People-oriented

From 19th century when China , facing the strong western culture , formed the strong crisis which didn't happened before , Chinese people tried to be saving the country traditional culture was gradually out of use with the western culture coming. The new Confucian school wanted to begin with the Chinese traditional culture and find the reasonable elements in it to support the modern society.Xu Fuguan devoted himself to new explaination of the Chinese traditional culture. He not only critized its shortcoming but also self-questioned it to show its real spirits and its role in the world .which brought us a theory about facing traditional culture and some modern unavoidable shortcomings .The thesis links the people-oriented idea with democracy to explain Xu Fuguan's political thoughts.The traditional culture shouldn't be discarded ,or setting up a modern country is just like the fish without water .As the Chinese ethics has important relationship with politics ,that is ,the ethics is its essence of the traditional culture and the politics is on its surface ,Xu Fuguan believed that the people-oriented idea is moral so, mediocrity and filial duty were different in concept but the same moral However the important relationship of politics and ethics which forms the relationship between the private domain and public domain becomes an important barrier of which China develops a modern country.The people-oriented idea is only the idealism of the Confucian school's politics from the relationship of the people-oriented idea and democracy .including the power belonging to ,domain and limitation ,and the democratic politics also includes the people -oriented idea ,and it even has more reality There are still problems in the political framework and western culture to explain the people-oriented idea This kind of framework should be the traditional and democratic discussion of two cultures ,it is also the problem of linking with modern of them.
