CPC always organize its work with a focus that centers aroundpeople-oriented and work for the well being of the people in the courseof more than90years.As an important member in the first and secondgeneration of collective leadership of CPC, a great proletarianrevolutionist and Marxist, Chen Yun stands on the principles of servingfor the people, always puts the people’s interests as the starting point andultimate goal in the struggle of life, and makes great achievement inChina’s economic and social development. Though Chen Yun neverdirectly puts forward the idea of "people-oriented", but his thoughtcontains this concept, and runs through his life.Chen Yunpeople-oriented thought form is continued and developed the marxistconcept of people’s values, Mao zedong’s people’s masses and thetraditional people-based thought in ancient China, and also of the age inwhich he experience and the geographical environment is closely linked.The contents of the “people-oriented”concept is: Chen Yun on theeconomic front, focus on the material life of the people’s needs; In theaspect of party construction, pay attention to contact with the people; Inthe aspect of social life, and always pay attention to the livelihood of thepeople; In the science and education culture, pay attention to improvethe quality of the people, this reflects the sexual morality, and the people of its distinct characterized by rich. Chen Yun people-oriented thoughtin new period vigorously push forward the construction of socialismwith Chinese characteristics, China road, concentrate the power of China,carry forward the spirit of China, to realize the great rejuvenation of theChinese nation has important practical significance and guidingsignificance.
