Get The People's Support, Get Prosperous

Taken the development of the new democratic revolution and society led by the CPC in Yan'an Period as the target, this dissertation tries to find out the basic reason why the CPC regime was able to grow from small and weak to big and powerful and ultimately defeat the KMT regime. Emphasis is laid on analysis of the way, character and experience of the CPC's great practice in this period.After the Long March, the CPC faced adverse circumstances in Northern Shanxi: the army dropped sharply to less than 30 thousand, Japanese invaders and the KMT army surrounding it···However, the CPC was strengthened in such abominable circumstances: changed the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region into "Model Area" and Yan'an into "Holy Land" being paid attention by the whole nation; led the movement for democracy and freedom through the whole country; grew the independant armed forces, defeated the military encirclement launched by the KMT and the aggression by the Japanese and then overturned the regime of the KMT during a little more than 3 years···All these historical achievements were attributed to the common aspiration and ardent support of the people won by the endeavour of the CPC's representation of the people's fundamental interests.The CPC's representation of the people's fundamental interests lies in two aspects: "Serving the people wholeheartedly" was determined as the sole guiding thought and no effort was spared to realize the people's interests in political, economic, cultural and social life.The practice of the CPC's representation of the people's fundamental interests was done in specific surrounding: long-term and complicated war circumstance; wide and changing mass base; surrounded by strong and brutal reactionary force; national liberation and democratic country foundation were combined together···In such complicated surrounding, the CPC dealt with the relation between its own development and the people's interests, thereby growing into a powerful party.The CPC's great practice of representation of the people's fundamental interests afforded us valuable historical experiences: correct ideological, political, organic, working route and good party's work style are the basic guarantee of victory; only by keenly throbbing with the pulse of the times and actively regulating, formulating and enforcing correct policies can the people's fundamental interests be represented; true feeling to the people must be cultivated and visible benefits must be given; honest politics construction is the key to the realization of the CPC's representation of the people; legality is the security of the people's interests.
