New emigration of Chinese is now becoming a popular social phenomenon as long as globalization is forwarding which affects the emigrants, the destination country and the origin country deeply. Scholars from every field try to study it through their own viewpoints. However, new immigration study is still at the initial stage in China, as most of the works are on theoretical introductions or demonstrations throughout regional or global level even only focusing on certain limited western countries which takes most of the new Chinese emigrants rather than thoroughly study it through micro aspects. Southeast Asia was a traditional immigration receiver but it has been left aside in this wave of new immigration study though its position as destination for new immigrants has been renewed since 1990th. This dissertation is a trial study by the author by using the case of new Chinese emigrants to Malaysia in order to urge on the research of this subject though there must be some insufficiencies in it.With around 65,000 words this dissertation is consisted of 3 parts including Introduction, Text and Conclusion.Introduction reviews contemporary international immigration theories, the new emigration study in China and the course of new Chinese emigrants to Malaysia. In this part the author also reveals the aims of this dissertation and specifies visa catagories of Malaysia additionally as the immigration process is directly influenced by visa policies of destination country.The Text includes 4 chapters. Chapter 1 reveals the foreign labor situation including the related labor policy of Malaysia and elaborates the scale, migratory methods, reasons and social effects of Chinese labors including a number of illegal Chinese workers in Malaysia.Chapter 2 looks on Chinese illegal female emigrants in Malaysia, through the scale, migratory courses, reasons and working contents etc., who work as sex workers and retailers. Due to the popularity of unauthorized staying of Chinese emigrants, some Chinese women in Malaysia were ill treated, the author also try to analyze the reasons and effects of it.Chapter 3 deals with the educational emigration of Chinese to Malaysia, focusing on the advantages of Malaysia's international education, Chinese students'backgrounds and the problems exist in this emigration category. Chapter 4 focuses on marital emigrants from China especially Chinese wives in Malaysia and"Malaysia—My second home programme"which simplified the emigration process by bank depositing for new emigrants from China.Conclusion summarizes the status and generalizes the effects of new emigration from China to Malaysia and offers some suggestions for both governments of China and Malaysia.
