From Nature Centric Warfare To Network Centric Warfare

With the coming out of network centric warfare and its powerful acting in the nearest wars, the mutation of operations mode becomes a hot topic in the process of revolutionizing and modernizing of army. The relationship of science and technology development, operations mode revolution and combat power increasing also become an important study object in Technology Philosophy domain.The paper directed to this topic, researched on the specific form of different human history times, division the process of operations mode transformation into three typical times: nature centric warfare, machine centric warfare, and network centric warfare. And then we investigated their connotations, forming conditions, characters in detail, pointed out the combat power growth principle of each times. In the end, summarized the conclusion and put forward four role of the operations transformation mode: science and technology driving, equivalent dimensionality increasing, space dimensionality widening and power dimensionality translation. And built a structure model of combat power, put forward a dynamic model of combat power.From this paper, we could see clearly the development history of operations mode, science and technology, and the mechanism how they driving combat power to a high degree, and offered a theory support for our military revolution.
