Liu Shao-qi's thoughts on cadre education is the product of the combination of Marxist cadre thought and China's concrete practice. It is not only the summary and theoretical distillation of his experience of revolution and construction practice, but an important part of Mao Ze-dong Thought. The deep and systemic investigation and research on its theorectical foundation, essential contents, historical significance, and contemporary value will be helpful to enhance the development of CPC's governing capacity, to improve the construction of socialist harmonious society, and to reinforce the education of maintaining the CPC members' advancement and the establishment of CPC members' and cadre's style.This thesis can be divided into the following five parts:Part I is the introduction. It mainly introduces the research purpose, the research situation and so on.Part II investigates the theoretical sources of Liu Shao-qi's cadre education thought from three aspects.Part III summarizes its essential contents from four aspects.Part IV explores its historical significance and contemporary values.Part V is the conclusion.The originality of this thesis lies in that the analysis and investigation of Liu Shao-qi's cadre education thought can be instuctive to train cadres in a large scale in the new age, to establish a high quality cadre group who are good at managing the state affairs, to continue to build the overall well-being society, and to develop Chinese characteristic socialism in the new development stage.
