Modernity Shock On Chinese Modernization Pursues And My Viewpoints

From the middle of the 20th, modernization and modernity have gradually become one of the hot topics in the field of ideology at home and abroad. We can see some limitations when we make a compressive view on the research results about modernization and modernity issues made by the scholars in the world. That is they just focused on one side of modernization or modernity, on system aspect, on sense, or on modernization issues .Besides there is also a limitation to the research methods, they treated the modern social issues with centrality consciousness or opposite ideas based on socialism and capitalism.The thesis is to discuss the objectives and characteristics of modernization of China from the aspect of modernity issues influences on modernization of China. It is based on the research results made by ideologists in the world. Using literature research , integrated analysis and comparative methods, the paper also extracts reasonable elements from the former research issues on modernization and modernity with attention to overcome their limitations.Since modern times, the western countries have become modern society with typical age significance during developing, and modernity is the main feature. Modernization and modernity have varieties and differences. They are not the relationship between cause and effect. Modernization course is a kind of process to achieve modernity, while modernity is its idea basis and objective. The pursue of Chinese modernization needs to learn from the developed countries in the west, and their character of modernity is our foundation of thinking and study. We should think it over, the impact of western modernization and modernity issues on the form of Chinese modernization, to make clearer about the objectives of Chinese modernization and perfect them, and we should find our own way to form our own features. Then, we can construct reasonable modernity theories with typical Chinese characters which is benefit to build a harmonious socialism society and advance the process of Chinese modernization.
