The issue of government credit in China is raised under the background of emergence of social credit crisis. With the development of socialist market economy in our country, each aspect in the social credit system is experiencing a crisis in different levels. Government credit is core of the social credit system, which has fundamental, decisive and orienting function. Local governments are organic components of our nation, and local government credit is the most important part of the government credit system. To optimize the social credit system, it is necessary for us to reinforce the construction of local government credit in our country.This paper takes aim at local government credit. First of all, it has described the current status of local government credit. Secondly, by means of interviews and questionnaires, the influencing factors of local government credit have been investigated by empirical study, and then these factors have been analyzed through statistic software. Thirdly, the relationship of the factors has been achieved, and the path diagram has been drawn.To provide suggestions on how to reinforce the construction of local government credit in our country, we should know the influencing factors of local government and their influencing level, and those can be got from the path diagram. The important sequence of every influence factors also have been drawn as: Development of Economy, Public Policy, Public Service, Market Supervision, Construction of Government, Public Administration. Finally, suggestions on local government credit are raised with hoping that these are benefit to improvement of our local government credit.
