On The Construction Of Government Social Governance Ability In Transformation Period

Our country is in a massive, fast and violent social transformation period. During such a period, our country makes enormous progress in such aspects as politics, economy, and society etc. on one hand, on the other hand the enormous changes brings a lot of puzzlement to the government management, and proposes new challenges to the government management ability. When facing the reality that the market vigor coexists with the order losing, efficiency promoting with the out-of-balance fair during the reform and opening-up period, we hold the opinions that the government should promote the construction of social governance ability, which should focus on the following points: adhere to the human-oriented idea, confirm government's function correctly, combine the main body of social governance, complete the mechanism of s social governance, change social governance methods, improve government self-building, strengthen social public service, improve government's emergency management ability, and strengthen civil servant's building.
