A Discussion On The National Relationship Of Kashi City During The Course Of Urbanization

The magnificent meaning of the relationship of nationalities make it a key point in research topic of scholars from different dissiplines , in recent years ,the national relations in Xinjiang has aroused the concern of many academics at home and abroad. Because of geographical and historical reasons, Kashi has been the political,economic and cultural centre, it has the big radiation strength regarding the south boundary's development. According to the latest census, the population of Kashi City, a total of 427,185 people, including Uygur 352,240, accounting for 82 percent of the total population, 70,925 Han people, accounting for about 17 percent of the total population and other minorities a total of about 1 percent, It can be said that the Kashi city the ethnic relations are mainly between the Uygur national minority and Han nationality's relations.In this paper, take lining pattern and the social interaction of Xinjiang Kashi city for the object of study, use the historical literature, surveys, interviews, statistics and other methods of sociology, mainly from the pattern of living, community relations, make friends, ethnic marriages, and other aspects of the investigation and analysis of the Kashi City of ethnic relations, come to the conclusion that: Between the Kashi city Uygur Han nationality's relations are friendly, although there are certain differences Uygur national minority and Han nationality in language, religion, customs and other aspects of life,and living pattern, the economic development not balanced, causes the Uygur Han nationality to live together, has contradictions unavoidably. However, the mainstream of harmony will not change, and social situation is generally stable.In the areas inhabited by minority nationalities, properly handle the Han nationality and ethnic minorities, is the regional stability development and the prosperity basis,I think: in Kashi to vigorously developing the economy, reduction differences between the Han and minority ,take the living pattern as the foundation and pay attention to other aspects communication , vigorously develop education, improve the quality of national minority; strengthen the Chinese nation's identity. On the common economic development and common progress, and culture of mutual learning, mutual exchanges, to make Kashi unity, stability and prosperity.
