As a media organization, trade association has been more and more important in social life. On one hand, trade association has played an important part in safeguarding industry interests , coordinating the contradiction between the government and enterprises, and promoting market competition; On the other hand, trade association will also make use of its inherent advantages of the functions together to resist external members, to restrict competition, and to disturb the market order. Therefore, many countries have established a set of trade associations for their own operation mode. At the same time,the anti-trust law also has regulated restrictive competition behaviors of trade associations.Trade associations in our country are different from the Western countries. The anti-trust law has been enacted recently in our country, so the relevant provisions are not perfect. The paper sets a start from analyzing the status and reasons of trade associations in our country, refers to the experiences of the United States, Germany, Japan and so on, and tries to find the road of regulation on restrictive competition behaviors of trade associations.The full text is divided into five parts:Introduction outlines the background and significance of this paper, the status quo of the current academic research on this issue, the aims and methods of this paper.The first part outlines the concept and characteristics of trade associations. Moreover, this part outlines the role of trade associations in promoting and restricting competition.The second part focuses on the forms of restrictive competition behavior, points out that four typical forms of restrictive competition behavior which are information exchange, collective boycott, standard certification and joint restriction of competition.The third part outlines the regulation methods of anti-trust law and other laws on trade associations in the United States, Germany and Japan. This part also compares regulatory systems of the three countries with each other.The fourth part outlines characteristics of restrictive competition behavior and status quo of regulation in our country.Part five points out the road of law regulation on trade association. Firstly,set the formulation of "unified trade associations law" ;Secondly , revise and perfect"anti-trust law".
