The paper explores the history and reality of the USA's religious pluralism. In the introduction, the paper tells readers about the status quo of study in the world and domestic academic circles. The paper includes 3 parts: In the first part, I introduce and analyze how the USA's religious pluralism gradually developed from the era of colony to contemporary America; in the second part, I introduce all of the ethnicity's religions and their characteristics, including Indians, Europeans, Africans, and Asians; in the third part, I give readers my opinions about the USA's religious pluralism issues. According to my idea:1. The tradition and environment of religious freedom made the characteristics of American society.2. The practice and results of religions taking part in politics pushed the development of American mainstream society.3. The reality and development of religious pluralism established the basis of American pluralistic society.4. The religious pluralism established the basis of the development of the capitalist economy in the U.S.A.5. The development and evolution of religious pluralism brought the basic characteristics of modern American religions.
