The establishment of the United Arab Republic was the major event of the Syria foreign relations and also was very important in the international politics. The United Arab Republic (UAR) rose in 1958, fell in 1961.During this period, two friends became enemies. This paper will analyze the reasons that the UAR's rise and fall in constructivism. This paper is divided into five parts, and do a detailed analysis on the background and the reasons.Through the analysis of the domestic and international situation,get the reasons such like Syria's domestic political chaos ,Nasser's personal factors and the United States' oppression that push Syria and Egypt to the union .To the UAR, the attitude of the Arab countries did not have the same response also reflected the United States and Soviet Union's influence in the region.The United States and Soviet Union's attitude to the UAR were all the same.Both of them did not want a regional power come out to challenge their powers.After the establishment,the new government's policy was not suited to the condition ,treated the two areas unfair,and the Egyptian's arrogant,led the new regimen in tough condition.Eventually Syrian military staged a coup,the UAR fell down.
