The formation of the party system in China has contributed the development of the world political parties and the contribution can not be ignored.The important thinking of Communist Party of China's "building the harmonious society of socialism" has indicated that the Chinese political environment has entered a new stage of development. Through the use of historical research methods in my thesis, I reviewed the historical background and development process of the contemporary Chinese political system. Through the multi-party cooperation system in infancy, established stage and mature stage, the sound stage of the four stages of analysis, I grasp the essence and the development of Chinese political party system from a historical causation Contact, made a comprehensive introduction of the composition and operation process of the contemporary Chinese political system, and analyzed in detail on the operation process of the building of political power and political decision-making.Compare with the West competitive the party system, Chinese political party system implicates and reflects the rich harmonious thinking, which is has the inherently compatibility with the construction of the harmonious society of socialism: harmony is not only the inherent requirements of contemporary Chinese political system, but also its basic core, and contemporary Chinese political system has the inherent harmony with socio-political, economic and cultural structure. Especially, its political advantage and political functions have been a full play since reform and opening up. However, in the new period, the strategic objective of the harmonious society of socialism has put forward new demands to Chinese political party system. Thirdly, we also shall promote the institutionalization and innovative development of the party system. Fourthly, we need to deal with the country's social restructuring, strengthen the political tolerance and absorption of public opinion of Chinese political party system. Then the characteristics and advantages of the CPC-led multi-party cooperation and political consultation system can be given a better exhibition, and the harmonious society of socialism will be true earlier.
