On Applying And Perfecting The Mediation System In Maintaining Public Security

Mediation in maintaining public security, as a main means taken by police in resolving disputes related to public order, is a kind of Chinese administrative mediation, and makes principle functions in softening the conflicts between people, and maintaining social stability. But mediation in practice has a certain distance between its theory studies. In this thesis, the author sets forth the meaning of mediation, explains its characters,importance and principles in practice,and emphasizes the study of its areas,conditions and legal force in applicability and its connections with other systems. Also the author analyses the regulations related to, probes into resolutions to the difficulties police faced with in daily practice, and as a result perfecting the mediation system in maintaining public security.
