Security has gone through a long process of development and change. From the early classical study of the strategy to internal divisions of realist's theory to the criticism from liberalism and constructivism Britain international theorist Barry Buzan made a significant contribution to the security studies. He developed the scope of security studies which widen from political and military sectors to society and economic ones. Security research was more room than before. In Post-Cold War era, security is not only confined to the military and political sector. Terrorism, global warming, financial instability and other issues are securitized to be security issues. To be differentiated from traditional security, these issues are called as"non-traditional security."After the Cold War, China and the United States security strategy have to go through a process of evolution. By contrast, China's security strategy has undergone many changes. In the early end of the Cold War, China ensures political stability, focusing on economic constructions. With the changes in international relations, China government strengthened cooperation with neighboring countries, and gradually put forward a new security concept and recognized by the neighboring countries. Shanghai Cooperation Organization has became an classical model of China's new security concept. After the Cold War, the U.S. security strategy aimed to maintain its superpower in the world . 9 ? 11 changed U.S. strategic goal. the US-led global war on terrorism translated strategic objectives of the United States from major powers to terrorism. The global spreading of terrorism, global warming, financial market disorder and other issues which called non-traditional security issues became the new areas of Sino-US cooperation. After Sept.11, terrorism has become the world's public enemy. The United States succeeded in securitizing terrorism, and leading the global war on terror. China has also suffered seriously from terrorism. The two countries have common interests in anti-terrorism and take some constructive actions. Global warming has become a worldwide crisis, China and the United States is the world's major country of greenhouse gas emissions. greenhouse gas emissions reduction need two powers'cooperation. Two powers have different levels of development, awareness of environmental issues, so there are divergence between the two powers. In 2008, the U.S. financial market disturbance spread in the global. China is the main holder of U.S. government bonds, Together with the United States to stabilize the financial market is of China's interests. In non-traditional security perspective of the relationship between China and the United States, we found that the stock of the relationship between China and the United States is increasing, At the same time, relations between the two countries also follow the trend of the times on the quality has improved. China put forward the concept of "harmonious world" which coincide with the idea of global governance. China not only provides with lower prices and better quality goods, but also a picture of the future of the world's spiritual resources.China becomes a responsible global power to assume more responsibility in non-traditional security areas in order to achieve good governance around the world. This goal is in line with the interests of the United States, the superpower in the world also needs a friend, rather than by Joseph Nye commented, the more United States powerful, the more lonely.
